I am fascinated. this website came to my attention via an advertorial posted in Country Living. I recently retired to Witsand in the Southern cape and have been having a good deal of pleasure in creating my own kitchen garden I have wondered how to bring some meaning to the lives of the needy living in nearby Slangrivier. Would this be the route to follow. Why reinvent the wheel? If there is already something that works can we not piggyback and work together somehow. Where can I go and who can I speak to?

Dear Cilla, thanks for your positive feedback. Its good to read that you intend to support micro-farming among the poor in your area. Can you send me the name of a few more towns in your area and also the nearest city? I can then see if I have someone on my database who you can link to. You can send direct to me on info@farmgardentrust.org.
    All the best!
